I have read it 2x's already and was so tempted to start it again last night, but I knew I'd be up forever!

I read that one too, I was so caught up in it, I didn't realize I was at the end of what she's written so far!

I can't believe I've been reading so much fanfic! I have never read a single bit of fanfic before Twilight!!!

i am so glad everyone is reading and likingholding out for you. the author updates so quickly, which is nice. makes it easier while waiting for WA.

i have never read fanfic until recently either, now i have 4 stories bookmarked that i check regularly for updates. i read the last chapter of HOFY on my iphone the other night at the movies waiting for the trailers to start.

I am too! Holding Out For You updated like yesterday or something. I was reading it on the bus on the way to Grad Nite on my iPhone.

The Dominant, I am so in love with! The conversations she has with the characters at the beginning of the chapters are hilarious. She should just do a whole story of her interviews with her Bella and Edward.

I couldn't do Holding Out For You...happened to start reading it on the 5th anniversary of my aunt's death (car accident) and was seeing too many parallels with my uncle/Edward.

The Dominant is good but the only one I find myself wondering what's going to happen next is Wide Awake.

I need to start a couple of those! I was so busy finishing the quilt I didn't have time for reading and now I'm taking a class. I have more time now though and was going to start the Wreckage and Mrs. the King's.

Thanks! The auction's today so we'll see how it prices out. Starting the one for the zoo benefit now (blues and greens). I was ironing fabric (seriously, if someone had said oh by the way, quilting involves tons of ironing, I wouldn't have started) and we had a Chuck marathon since I'm trying to hook my whole family on it. I'm not just a Twilight pusher...I've expanded to Chuck and hooked my sister, brother's fiancee and my niece.

I just found out yesterday that we're expecting grizzly cubs and wolf pups from Alaska, baby otters and hopefully baby red pandas since ours are getting busy.

I'm thinking we should name them Edward and Bella, Alice and Jasper, Rosalie and Emmett and Carlisle and Esme. I have the events director reading Twilight but I should probably work on the zoo's director!

I wrote this scene last night...

Edward, you silly vampire, I pick you. I pick you to love.

His looked into my eyes again at the words love.

“How could you possibly know that?” He seemed truly confused.

How could I possibly not? Love is easy, I have been in love many times.

“Reeallly?” He had made the two-syllable word sound much longer.

I shook my head with a smile

“How can it be so effortless for you? Aren’t you afraid of the pain?” He was searching my face for answers.

“Life is just like this, Edward.” I motioned to the sheer cliff with the picturesque terrain.

You can either be afraid of the fall or enjoy the view.

I walked to the edge of the cliff to prove my point. He was soon beside me.

“How did you get all this down pat in such a short amount of time?” He was teasing now.

Women are a lot smarter than men.

Edward grabbed me and pulled me into his arms.

My very tippy toes were on the rock, but the rest of me dangled over the 500-foot drop.

“So it’s like this then?” His seductive voice captured me.

Just like this. I put my arms out and leaned back as far as I could, closing my eyes.

“I am enjoying the view now.” His voice was meaningful enough for me to open my eyes as he gathered me closer. I put my head on his chest.

“Tell me you love me,” he said. I found his golden eyes sparkling in the moonlight.

I love you. I could actually feel my eyes getting bluer, but I kept my gaze steady. It was a vow for me, one that I would never turn my back on.

“Out loud.” he whispered.

“I will love you forever, Edward.” I smiled and kissed his lips.

“How can you say those words without expectation in your own mind?” He was smiling too now, “You truly are as good as you seem Sasha Duncan.”

Edward dipped me dramatically over the edge of the cliff in the most dangerous dance move in the world. With the stars bordering his beauty, Edward said loud enough to echo, “I am honored to love you. Kiss me.”

Trusting him to hold us both, I kissed him passionately.

I don't know about a party but I think they are going to try for unicorns! They have to, she seems to know what she wants now, or at least be vocal about it so maybe she can ask him to redo that disastrous one. They need it!

The Wreckage is killing me. I reviewed and she sent me a teaser that involved Jacob and hand holding! I was like Arghhhhhh, nooooooo! Oh, and the author is posting outtakes of pre-accident Bell/Edward. The first one was smutastic!

I need to start a couple of those! I was so busy finishing the quilt I didn't have time for reading and now I'm taking a class. I have more time now though and was going to start the Wreckage and Mrs. the King's.

Definitely Wreckage and Mrs. the King's, I started hers but got caught up with grading papers at work and haven't gone back. I also started searching around Twilighted.net since I had to register to read Mrs. the King's story and started like 4 more stories, very good ones too.

I have issues with pre-Twilight fics but I really liked what I have read so far from yours, it's really well written. I just hate the idea of Edward with anyone else or even loving anyone else but Bella. But he has been 17 for 80 years before Bella even turned up so it's understandable.

I thought I would read a lot more on the bus up to Grad Nite but I didn't. I ended up talking with the kids much more than I normally do.

Last time we had a baby naming contest for our pygmy marmoset (itty bitty monkey), the keeper came up with the name that we all liked (Eko), but it was a public contest so they convinced my niece to lie for them that she came up with the name! The name she actually came up with was something like UruguayEcuador. Zoo peeps are EEEVIL...

So sad, my quilt only got $400 at auction. There were 3 quilts higher out of 50. It was partly due to the recession (no quilt made over $600 and usually quilts are over $1000) and partly due to the placement of it in the auction when everyone was leaving. My cousin ran over to me pissed and said that she couldn't believe the auctioneer cut it short (she's the one who's super involved with the charity organization so was upset about them not earning more $$). Glad it at least made $400 for them.

She also said she needs to give me my Twilight books back....
