Twilight check in at Heathrow

Hi we are off to LA next week and want to know if its posible to do the twilight check in the day before we fly in Heathrow we fly with Virgin at 12.00 noon.

I'm pretty sure Virgin don't offer this from Heathrow unfortunately.

You can check-in online though.....

How do we do that.

Go to www.virgin-atlantic.co.uk then click "Manage Your Flights" then "Check In"

You will need your booking reference handy. You can check-in 24 hours prior to your departure.

Thanks for that, when do we drop off our luggage is it at the regular time or can we do it later.

You need to drop you bags off to the special DIY Check-In Bag Drop Counter at least 60 minutes prior to your flight. From this counter you will also be handed your boarding pass.

Thanks for the info I think we will be doing this, we can check in on line before we head down to Heathrow the day before we fly. Then we can take our time in our hotel on the day. We have alredy pre booked our seats so this will make it even easier.

I'd check you can access your booking online - we weren't able to as we'd booked with Thomas Cook so even though we had Virgin tickets we didn't have a Virgin reference.

Its also worth asking if they do do twighlight check-in now at LHR - they may have added it if there was enough demand

I thought that every one had a Virgin reference - its the booking number that Virgin Atlantic use to recognise you as their passenger. Sure that you can get it if you only ask.
