Something about these two quotes bothers me...

As Southern Middle schoolers were crowding together to set up the picture, a student standing behind Tweety patted the bird on the head, witnesses said. They said Tweety then lashed out, hitting sixth-grader Karla Davis-Dunn in the side.

She would not identify the person wearing the 7-foot-tall Tweety suit or say whether any disciplinary action had been taken against the employee.

How was a 12 year old able to even reach the head of a person in a 7-foot tall costume in order to tap them on the head???

I don't know about this Six Flags, but at ours they have an area where big groups usually have their pictures made. There is like a bench that people will stand on to get everyone in the shot, so maybe it was a situation like that.

But there's just something about a 7 foot tall caniary that would prevent me from havinig my picture made with it anyway. I don't really like the Looney Toons characters.

a 7ft canary needs to hit a kid in order to get away from a prankster? Please...

I have to admit. I've been to this park. And i wouldn't go back. Saw very few caracters the day i was there, but the rides kept breaking down all day long(4 different coasters). The CMs weren't very nice, and the food wasn't any good either. The whole place soured on Six Flags.

We met up with a very grumpy Piglet once but at least he didn't hit anyone. I never did care for Tweety, I've always rooted for Sylvester (my very favorite character bar none) to finally win that battle.
