Tween/kids club question, help me decifer this ....

... and then there are those of us with kids who sail close to their 11th birthday (our cruise is June 12th, DD's birthday is August 3rd) who would just LOVE to be in the tween club!

Our DD has two older brothers (16 and 13) and is around older kids at church and in her baton twirling group all the time. She is more, um, let's say, "developed" than most of the 10 year old girls in her 5th grade class and would definitely be more comfortable in the tween group with her 13 year old brother.

We are hoping that she can move up, even though she'll be about 1-2/3 months shy of the 11 year old age. It looks like the teen club will have a key card access (what a great idea - the teens really need to be separated from the tweens and this will ensure that only those 14 and up are in there), but that the tween club will be come and go as you please? That age group doesn't get Mickey bands, so maybe they will have a list of names to check as you enter?

Anyway, we'll know more as those first Dream cruises begin in just a few weeks. Wish we were on one, but with a high schooler in AP classes, we just can't cruise during school. So it's the summer for us (and then Sept w/my mom and Dec w/just DH!).

Rose :)
