Sorry, she's right. I grew up watching that show every week. I was convinced I would be a cop one day. What the heck, it couldn't have paid worse, nor gotten me any more abuse and disrespect than being a nurse.
How 'bout some Saturday morning. Anybody remember the late '70s show that featured a futuristic RV roving around the post-nuclear-holocaust wasteland? Sounds like a kid's show, hunh? I used to act out some of this show when we went camping in our little class C as a kid, loved it.
Along the same lines, who remembers the prime-time sitcom set in a valley protected from a nuclear-holocaust (kinda like Jericho, but it was supposed to be funny)!? I believe it was from Fox's first season on-air, it was early at least.

The original Crocadile hunter type show...I think the assistant that ended up doing most of the dangerous part was named Jim.
Seems like this show came on around the same time as one of the disney shows in the 70's
