TV shows Thomas & Friends

My DS also loved Thomas, and had a large layout of the wooden trains. We once went to the “Day Out With Thomas” event at Strasburg Railroad in PA and rode on the train with a real Thomas locomotive, very cool.

My son, who is 30 now, used to watch Shining Time Station. I have memories of Ringo Starr and George Carlin as Mr Conductor. No idea what Thomas and Friends is like now.
Same. I think it was so much classier then.

I still have a huge bin of DS's wooden trains with the "clickety clack" ridges.

We still have a lot of the original videotapes with Ringo Starr and George Carlin. I think they've gone back and redubbed them with different voices.

We had a table for the tracks & the whole setup for years, such nice memories, nice to hear it is being jumpstarted.

I wish today's kids would also get to experience a renaissance of Nicktoons & Disney Channel like what the Gen Z kids had, circa Zach & Cody and Juandissimo. No idea why it all vanished when I grew up watching Mr. Ed made a decade before I was born, keeping good things is good.

I'm excited to be watching it and I love Thomas & Friends All engines go I like Thomas, Rebecca, Nia, Diesel, Bruno and Percy.
Lots of new names. In my son's generation, it was Thomas, Gordon, Henry, Percy, Edward, James, and Douglas/Donald (twins).

Terence the caterpillar tractor, Harold the cheeky helicopter, Bertie the bus. and Trevor the traction engine.

Ah, good times!
