TV Show Disappointment!

Two shows I used to love are just not doing anything for me this season. The first is House. The second is The Office. They just aren't great anymore. Anyone else? Other shows?

For some reason "Ugly Betty" isn't as appealing as it used to be to me. I still really enjoy it, but the first couple of seasons it was a "world MUST stop while I watch this" show. And I haven't been watching CSI Miami or CSI Las Vegas that much any more.

Hoeroes and Battlestar.

Both have been so bad lately it's going to ruin the rest of series (previous season) for me. Given how the story evolves over time a really bad ending can ruin the whole story.

Grey's Anatomy has been getting worse with each season it seems. :sad2:

I also agree about House.

Scrubs seems to have gone off in a different direction. I'll give it a chance because I love the show, but the first couple of episodes were not as good as previous seasons.

Two and a Half Men isn't as funny as it use to be.

I gave up Heroes as well when they didn't do a last-season recap. The "red carpet premiere" was a bit self-serving and didn't do anything to help me remember what happened last season...

I agree on the office...I've taken to watching Hells Kitchen which is on at the sametime. I mean, it has its funny parts, but then over half the show is just boring.

Brothers and Sisters is the biggest disappointment this year. It is just so over-the-top all the time -- worse than Falcon Crest ever was.

Private Practice was tough to watch, too, until the cross-over episodes with Grey's Anatomy, which, although it wasn't really "bad" this year, was definitely no where near as good as it was two years ago.

We've gone back and forth with both Life and Criminal Minds; we're currently back watching Life, after dropping it for a while, but we've dropped Criminal Minds, probably for good, now.

Numb3rs is getting a little repetitive, too.

By contrast, a bunch of shows are as good, if not better, than they've ever been, including Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Heroes, NCIS, Psych, and The Unit.

I still watch House, but every episode seems to be the same (the patients start bleeding, going blind, and generally falling apart) and they spend the whole show trying the same things they tried last week.
The Office - I just never could click with it. It just seems so "out there."

Compared to the episodes of Spongebob and Diego I see all day long, I'd say "The Office" is still a breath of fresh air (although nothing has made me laugh as hard as "Pretzel Day" and the episode where Andy is in the Sumo suit and falls in the pond).
