There are movies ondemand and some other good shows on. You can even watch the main stage productions from your room, sometimes, too. I'll let others with more recent experience than mine chime in, though...

There is Disney programming on-demand on the Dream and Fantasy. The Magic just came out of dry dock, and rumor has it that on-demand programming has been added in her staterooms, as well. The Wonder does not have on-demand programming, but rather, Disney shows & movies that run on the TV on their own schedule. None of it costs extra on any ship. All onboard entertainment (TV, theater shows, movies in theaters, etc.) is complimentary on DCL.
