So question for anyone who has stayed in the new rooms in Alligator Bayou. If your child is sleeping in the Murphy bed and the TV is right above it can they really see the TV or is it hard for themand if it tough for them to fall asleep if the TV is on? Just a weird piece to put a TV if a child is sleeping Im thinking.

We stayed in the new rooms this past April and no our son could not watch tv but we were at the parks all day so we'd get back, shower up and everyone was out.

It would completely depend on the child. If they are light sleepers, it would keep them up.

TV affects sleeping not only by sound, but mostly by the flashing off and on of the pictures between light and dark, once you have turned out the lights. The TV could be sitting on the floor or hanging on the wall and still affect your sleep more than just noise.

You are all in one room; it is going to happen if you leave the TV on for extended periods after you turn off the lights.

Thanks for asking this question. DS7 was asking this very question this morning. We aren't big tv watchers, especially on vacation but I will be prepared to let him in our bed for a little while to finish a show or something. Once it's lights out, the tv goes out.

I think that sounds great for everyone!
