Tv in exit row seats

Hi can anyone please tell me what it is like viewing the tv in the exit row seats on Virgin Atlantic 747. I have only ever watched the seat back tv so was just wondering what the tv in the armrest is like.

Who are you flying with? I was in an exit row with BA last year. We had a pull out screen thing that stowed below the arm rest, and it had to be stowed for take off and landing. Screen was no different to the others, just could move it around a bit more. Mine didn't work however! I ended up watching things on my very old iPod because I got a better picture out of the tiny tiny screen on it.

The armrest TV is no different to the seat back one. The only downside is that it has to be stored away for takeoff and landing and not that VA allow you to watch TV right up to the point you get to the gate if you are in an exit row seat you may miss the last 10 to 15 mins of your film
