We have recently had a new aerial fitted (last one fell off the chimney!). We have Virgin cable so don't watch Freeview in the lounge, but we have a TVs in all our bedrooms. At the moment they have indoor aerials and just manage to pick up the 5 analogue terrestrial channels (Channel 4 reception not too good).

What I want to do is put a splitter/amp in the loft to distribute the roof aerial signal to the bedrooms and then get Freeview boxes.

Can anyone recommend a good splitter/amp? I've been looking at ones in Maplin and Screwfix but not sure if they are any cop.

if your getting one try to get one that boosts the signal, this means it has to be pluged into the mains would put a spur in the loft.
If you have drywall studs in house, its easy to fish up cable to loft.
Also get a good digiatal coaxil cable as you whant good shealding
Were lucky as were quite close(not to close)to winter hill our transmitter.and we can have ariels in the loft for the beddrooms
