We will be staying at the Polynesian the weekend of the AFC Championship game. I am in no way counting my chickens before they hatch (I have been a Red Sox fan for too long! ;) ), but IF our beloved Patriots are in the game, my DH wants to find a place where he can park himself and watch the game, but the kids can still do something fun if they don't want to watch it all. We were thinking that maybe the Barefoot Pool Bar at the Volcano Pool would have a nice TV and that would be a good place? He can watch (and I can watch some too, but they could swim/play). Can any of you Poly experts tell me if that would be a sensible plan??? :confused3

TIA!! :thumbsup2

Just giving this a bump ... my DH is REALLY aching to know about this. Any Poly experts know if the TV at the Barefoot Pool BAr would be a good place to watch a football game???

TIA! :goodvibes

I'm not sure if there's a TV at the pool bar, but IIR, the way it faces you can not really see your kids at the pool from there very well.

I also wouldn't count on it being warm enough to swim that time of the year. THe average daytime high for mid-January is only in the mid-60's.
