tuxs on the 4 day Wonder

hello all

going on our first disney cruise on SuperBowl Sunday, and my DW and I are going with our best friends. as strange as it may seem, I have read a few posts about wearing tuxs to dinner on the formal night. Does the 4 day have a formal night? is there an opportunity to wear a tux for dinner and not look out of place if there isn't a formal night? I actually like wearing a tux and getting dressed up for a special night, if it's called for.

Formal nights are only on the 7 day. Some people do get dressed up for their dinner in Tritons on the Wonder though. If you wear a tux you will be in the minority.

although its completely speculation, do you think we would be the only ones in a tux? to be honest, I'm not afraid to be the only ones in tuxs, i think it might be kind of cool. at least of photos would be unusual!

Another option is to wear the tux to Palo's.

We will be on our first cruise, Myself, DW,and DS7, along with two other familys. And althogh there is no Formal night on our 4 day, My DW and I will do the formal just to get all dressed up for a change!

We did see a tux on our 3 day cruise in July.
DH wore a suit for Tritons & Palos and I went with the sort of semiformal dresses for those nights. Some people do dress up,so go for it if thats what you like. To me it makes the cruise more enjoyable.

i agree. i think doing the formal thing for Palos might be the call. we're going to rent the tux's, so maybe one of those less formal tux's, without the bowtie. maybe just a straight collar and a button or something like that. it'll be fun.

Dont tell Scott that! Vicki wants him to think theres a formal night so she can get him into a something other then a t-shirt and jeans for a change. LOL
