My DF chose his tux and his groomsmen's tuxes (our fathers will also be wearing these). We are going through After Hours. THese are great!!! We are purchasing the hats and chains for the guys... I can't wait to see our 5 year old ring bearer in the white one that matches Andrew's - you can see it here: http://afterhours.com/styles_detail...e=5&style=504&type=&brand=+&accesscolor=&Nav=

My DF will have the black shirt and black tie with it. THere are also some great formal black & white spectator shoes that complete the outfit, along with the hat and chain. If you have one of the catalogs, it shows it on pg. 30 and 31. The online pics don't show the zoot suit. It's great!!! He fell in love with it and I just thought it was the neatest thing ever!!! :goodvibes

This is the one the groomsmen and fathers are wearing... http://afterhours.com/styles_detail...e=2&style=843&type=&brand=+&accesscolor=&Nav=

it looks so different with the hat and chain though... wish I could find them online... argh... pirate:

I did find the shoes though... check these out!! http://afterhours.com/styles_detail...W04&type=shoe&brand=+&accesscolor=&Nav=retail

Are you having a gangster theme? We were going to years ago when we were first engaged. Now, 8 years later, and at 29, my tastes have changed to something more formal. But the whole ganster thing with a swing band was our original idea. It looks really fun.
It's funny. Eight years ago, Scott probably would have picked something like that. Now, he picked this:

Looking at your post was kind of nostalgic for me. It made me realize how much we've changed! I feel like we've become boring old folks!
The tuxes are really unique. You'll have a lot of fun!

No, actually our theme was originally just going to be Christmas and Cinderella/Prince Charming... but my DF just fell in love with those tuxes and so now there's a gangster feel to it. :confused3 So, when we showed my brother the pic last night (he's one of the groomsmen), we told him about our theming dilemma. Here's what he came up with:

It will be a Christmas and Cinderella/Prince Charming theme where the gangsters rob everyone... :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl: HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

I am trying to think of subtle ways to add it in. We will definitely have some swing dancing. :thumbsup2

Originally, a long time ago, he had wanted tails, top hat and cane... but now, his taste has changed. I like the tux your DF chose. It's classy. :goodvibes

I think the zoot suits are a nice festive touch. It'll add a really fun eliment to the atmosphere.
To tell you the truth, I'm relieved my fiance picked something classy. I was worried about it. He doesn't have much fashion sense. Sometimes he looks like a homeless man I picked up off the street:) He still has MC Hammer pants from the '80's and he wears them! He has pink and green ones in a snake print and black ones with electric blue hand and footprints all over them.

JoJo my DF chose the same tux I was thinking something a little less Formal, but it will work I guess there was no budge room.

Travelgirl - yes the After Hours in Winter Garden will be delivering and picking up the tuxes at the resort. That's why we went with them. :sunny:

My fiance is a long-haired scruffy sort of guy. I am always telling him that he's scruffy and needs to shave. Our daughter calls him "Scruffy Papa" and calls his truck the "Scruffy Truck." People tell him he looks like a scruffy pirate. pirate:
I really look forward to seeing him cleaned up and in a tux!
This is him behind my nephew trying to hide from the camera.

He actually dressed up and shaved for this picture, but I don't have a good scruffy pic of him.
