Tux Rental Onboard?

DH was thinking of renting a tux for formal night. Has anyone done this? Does DCL rent them or do we need to go through an outside company? Any recommendations? Thanks!

Cruiseline Formalwear is the company to go to. Go their website and pick a tux, suit, accessories, etc and enter measurements. They will ensure your rented attire is waiting in your stateroom when you board. We've used them several times and had great experiences. We've never had a problem with fit, but they also supposedly do minor alterations or size exchanges if available.

Yes, cruiseline formal is the company that DCL contracts with. There is a link somewhere on the DCL website - or you can google CruiseLine Formal and get there.

You pick DCL, the Ship, the Dates, and the Tux Package you want, and your measurements.

I have rented tuxes from them a couple of times - once with an Upgraded Vest and Tie (they were very nice) and another time just the basic black tux. I was surprised how nice it was!! This saved me 4 nights of dress clothes to pack and lug (was on WBPC in May: formal, 2 semi formal and Palo dinner)

Oh yea, I looked really sharp!!!

MY DH and DS just used them when we were in the Med in June. They tuxes fit perfectly. We will definitely rent from them again. We like to dress up on formal night and it definitely saves on packing 2 suits.

Did this a couple of years back. Everything was perfect down to the shoes.

what the cost of renting a tux etc.? I'm thinking this might be the way to go for our next cruise (NOV 2014) so we don't have to pack DH's fancy duds like last time....

I believe it was about $130. But they received 3 shirts with it so they could wear it more than once.

The "Classic Black" Tux package is $85 + 5 = 90. I think I remember there is the $5.00 fee on every "order".
