So what do they charge you for these tux rentals? Sounds like we are going to book at Palo's on formal night. Rather spend the money that way.

Thanks

We've decided to opt out of renting the tux for dh. Instead he's going to wear his suit and I have a red dress that goes just below the knee. It's not that formal but everyone says it will work just fine.

The tux rental is $85 for just a jacket, pants, shirt. It's extra for the shoes and vest (if you want that). We figure it would be better to spend the money else where.

If you are planning to cruise yearly, like we do, you might consider purchasing a tuxedo. I bought a tux for my husband off of eBay two years ago. He has worn it on our last 3 cruises. I think we paid around $150 total for a basic black tux w/ cumberbund (something that will not go out of fashion), including a shirt and cuff links, so were are already way ahead on what a rental would have cost. I love seeing my DH all decked out, so it was worth the intial up front cost. I am sure he will be wearing it again on our Magic cruise this November.

The tux is totally optional on formal night. Most guys will be in suits. If he has one and wants to bring it, by all means wear it. If he doesn't have one, wear a suit.

A tux is $85 and includes coat, pants, two shirts, black cumberbund, bow tie, studs, and cufflinks. Shoes are $12.
