I've read mixed reviews on Tutto (and yes, I know, you get mixed reviews on any restaurant.) We love Italian food in our family and recognize there are varying levels of food, i.e. Olive Garden v. the North End in Boston.

We're on the DDP, so it being overpriced isn't a concern to us. Any thoughts? (Our ADR is for dinner, not lunch.)

Thank you,
Meredith

We went last year and weren't fans. Out of 4 adults, 2 liked it and 2 didn't. Two of my 3 kids couldn't WAIT to get out of there. The service was slow and unfriendly, the food was average, and we were there for over two hours.

To be fair, nothing I had then is still on the menu. To be more fair, I don't eat pork, shellfish, or veal for religious/ethical reasons, so that limits the menu for me. DH liked it OK, though he'll eat just about anything (but hasn't asked to go back in the 4 trips since), and so did MIL. FIL and I weren't fans.

Honestly, we'd rather eat CS at Tangierine!

Personally, I love Tutto. I've eaten there twice and loved my meals. DH likes it too. Last year we were there with a group of 9 and the majority liked it. We had good service on both visits. The only thing that keeps me away is the prices. When I do a trip with the dining plan, though, it is towards the top of my list of places to go.

We ate there last March for my DH's birthday. Even though we liked it, we found it on the expensive side for what it was. We did not have the dining plan. I would be more inclined to eat there with the dining plan.

Yay. One of the best meal experiences we've had in WDW. Click the dining review link in my signature and you can read our full review with lots of pics.

I happen to think it's one of the most overrated restaurants @ WDW. We think Mama Melrose and Tony's are better. Incidentally, we come from an award-winning Italian restaurant family, so we know Italian food.

Subpar food, ridiculously outrageous prices, disgusting bathrooms and bad service, won't see us return here (we have eaten here 2x).

we went in November and were on the dining plan. I wouldn't go again. The food was on par with an Olive Garden but without the endless salad. Not bad but not comparable to some other options in Epcot. We personally really enjoy Chefs de France.:teacher:

Count me as a YAY. I really like Tutto Italia.

We went to Tutto last August and really liked it. The service was good and so was the food. It is a bit pricy for what you get, but you can say that about most WDW resturants.

Our group (on Dining Plan) had dinner here exactly one month ago. Out of the 6 of us only the 2 that had the Penne Caprese liked their entree. Desserts were extremely disappointing, especially considering the price that they charge for them. Also we had major issues when we were trying to settle our bill as we were using both Dining Plan credits and TIW for the items not covered under the plan. Both the waiter and the manager were totally confused. :confused3 Out of 13 sit-down meals that we had at WDW during our 8 day stay, this was definitely our least favorite! This was our second bad experience here, I doubt we give it a third try. Epcot has several better restaurants to offer. ;)

If I could say no in all the native tongues of the World Showcase I would, it is BLAND, we have 2 face it some people like food that is under seasoned, and if this is you then go!! The food lacks the freshness that I adore in authentic Italian food. I could not taste any oregano, basil.onion I couldn’t taste anything it was like eating food when you have a bad cold and I didn’t have a cold, my 3yr old who will eat anything didn’t even care for it, the fried cheese was tasteless, I did not eat and did not pay for this bland meal, once me and my son left Italy we ran to Morocco 2 eat!. But really the only way for you 2 know is 2 go!

It is a must do for us! One of our favorites!!! Very, very good. :goodvibes

I would have to say:sad2: NAY

I had the lassagna(sp?) and it tasted like it came out of a can of Chef Boyrdee yuck!!!

The deserts looked really "pretty" but they tasted :scared:yuck

IMHO, I would avoid this place!!

I love how different the reviews are! OP...there's only one way for you to find out...you'll have to try it and decide for yourself. :flower3:

We loved it. As the pp said.. go and form your own opinion. Everyone has differing tastes and opinions. :)

Although I found it Bland at best, I did tell the OP to try it thats the only way a person will ever know!

Add us to the nay list. We felt the food was unremarkable and as a previous poster mentioned the service was not at all friendly. Very different from all of the other wonderful servers we've had in the world.
BTW, I'm Italian and was looking forward to Tutto. I don't see us going back any time soon.

We really enjoyed our meal at Tutto and look forward to eating there next trip. We regularly eat authentic Italian, there is a Little Italy section.
We also had very good service, very nice server. I say try it.
