The only Italian place we have done in WDW was Mama Melrose's, so I'm looking for thoughts on Tutto Italia.. it would be a lunch ADR.

Thanks! :)

Honestly I was a bit underwhelmed when we went a month ago. I think I just had too high of expectations with everything I read. It was good, but it didn't blow my socks off, especially at the price. Think I'm trying Il Mulino next time.

I was wondering if they are still offering the $27 dollar lunch thing that they had in the summer.

That would be nice! We had the option between Tutto and Via Napoli, and DH picked Tutto Italia.. I don't know why, but I booked it lol.

We have had the shrimp risotto, the ribeye, and my husband dreams of the polenta dish. I think I had the salmon one year. My kids love the pizza!! The servers there are amazing. I had too much prosecco last trip. Nah! No such thing!!

I have heard Il Mulino is amazing!

Oh it all sounds delish!

We did Tutto on our first visit and did Via Napoli this past June when we visited. I may be in the minority here, but I much preferred Tutto. It felt like a nice escape from the park and my wife and I loved our food. Via Napoli had a nice sangria that we enjoyed, but other than that - we didn't LOVE much about our visit. I remember that it was loud and that our food/service was ok.

I'm not sure that we will get back to either on our next visit because we want to keep trying new places- but when we do make a repeat to a restaurant in Italy, we will be going to Tutto.

We tried Tutto for lunch our last trip and loved it! I got the lasagna and some type of cake with gelato for dessert and the others in my party with food allergies had pasta with sauce and said it was really good. I think they even were able to get dessert. We booked lunch there for our next trip in Dec.

We've eaten at Tutto a couple times, we don't love it but our meals have been good :) Il Mulino on the other hand is absolutely fantastic!

We dont care for Tutto but we have tried Trattoria al Forno on the Boardwalk which we loved. We did dinner there. I dont think they serve lunch. If you are on the dining plan I think its 1 credit. We really liked it.

You asked for my thoughts....

Dump Tutto. Get on the boat, go to the SWAN, enjoy a LEGITIMATE Italian Restaurant at "IlMulino" :).

They do not take DDP. They honor TIW. They have an EXCELLENT Restaurant.

Keep hearing about Il Mulino. We have so many highly rated Italian places where we live, but we may try this - we're never on DDP, so it could actually be better for us to seek out restaurants that don't accept it. I don't suppose they offer any passholder discounts?

Our Recommendations:
. . . appys:... Grand Antipasto Misto (for two)
. . . entree:.. Risotto ai Sapori con Gamberi
. . . dessert:. Cannoli, with chocolate and orange

NOTE: Tutto is the eatery within Italy at Epcot which replaced Alfredo's. For an Italian restaurant; strange you cannot find Fettuccine Alfredo. (OK, Alfredo is more of an American dish, but one should have it as an option.) Tried the braised fennel or lunch, and it was only a chunk of fennel with cheese. We also, unfortunately, tried the pasta e fagioli. Om the bright side: the pork shank was tender, tasty and plentiful. Our group also sampled the Risotto and sampled the Lasagna and we were pleased with the taste and quantity. The Patina Group owner is trying to keep things authentically Italian, but have made strides in food quality, but only fully reached that goal in the slow and inattentive service category. One should also note that the eatery is noisy and oftentoo loud to carry on a conversation.

Tutto Italia is my family's must-do every trip. We've been there on our last 4 trips. We find it consistently good, both food and service. It's one of the few places where everybody has enjoyed everything, both entree and dessert. We've also done Via Napoli and Mama Melrose. We had no complaints about either of those, but do slightly prefer Tutto Italia. Having said all that, I have always heard very good things about Il Mulino, but I have never been.

Not real big hit with our family. Its OK, but feel that Via Napoli, Mama Melrose and the new place at Boardwalk(sorry, name slips me) are better

Thanks everyone! I'm debating on canceling it, but I'll have to run this all by my DH to see what he thinks. :)

We ate there last month after not having eaten there in several years. I had the lasagna. It was just ok.
I think there are better options in World Showcase.
