We were never impressed with the quality of Alfredo's.
Is the new place better?

For the prices they are charging, the food had better be AMAZING!!! Plain tomato-basil pasta (no meat) for $24??!!?? Yikes!!

I looked at the menu and decided that we will skip it.... we are not on the dining plan, and those prices are a little steep!!

We ate lunch here on Tuesday, without the dining plan and no ADR's.

It was delicious!! The staff were wonderful, the resturant beautiful. I have never eaten in Italy before, so I don't have anything to compare it to.

We had the Lasagna and Bucatini, and my mom and I both raved over the food. It wasn't huge portions, but definatley enough to fill you up. It was probably our favorite meal of the trip.

I hope the new counter service restaurant they are putting in will have some of the same food at lower prices. I LOVE Italian, but the current menu is beyond my budge!

I also can't wait for the reports to come in here on the DIS. The prices seem very high, but if it is a great place, I'd consider it for sure.

We had dinner there last night and we were not impressed. We used dinning plan credits for the meal but we would not pay out of pocket for this place. The service and food quality are not on par with the prices they are charging.
