Tutto Italia or San Angel Inn?

We would like try a new restaurant at Epcot. We have boiled it down to those two. Which should we choose?

We tried San Angel Inn on our last trip and we were very disappointed by it. We thought the food was barely ok and the service was horrible. We decided after this trip that we will not be going back there any time soon. We did try Tutto a couple years ago and enjoyed that meal. I can't remember anything that really stuck out but I did enjoy it overall.

DH & I like San Angel Inn. We've always had good service & have enjoyed all our apps/entrees. The atmosphere is my favorite though, the illusion that you are outdoors at night sitting by a river with a volcano in the background is hard to beat. Darn it, I wish I was there now, sigh....

We have dined at both, and really enjoyed each one. However, we were very disappointed with San Angel Inn on our last trip. The service was slow and the food was just ok, nothing great. The atmosphere was fantastic, but it didn't make up for the rest of the dining experience. We never had a bad meal at Tutto Italia.

The setting at San Angel is awesome, the food and service are not. I could see having a drink and an app there just to experience the ambiance. I have yet to eat decent Mexican food at Disney after 15 trips. Hopefully, Frontera Cocina will be changing that for us next month.

Tutto Italia has pretty good food, depending of course on what quality of Italian you are used to, but we have found the service there to be very hit or miss. The atmosphere is nothing amazing. For a full dinner, I would go with Tutto Italia.

We've eaten at San Angel in 2015. The atmosphere was awesome but the service and the food wasn't so great. If I had the choice I would choose Tutto Italia.

I've been going to San Angel since childhood. Its not a "must do" because Mexican is so readily accessible locally, but the food is good, and I've never had problems with the service. The atmosphere is probably my fave in WDW, just because its so unique, I can eat next to amazing views of cities, all over, and I HATE "antics" but this does it for me. I should try getting in more often. I've grabbed a late lunch there the last 10 years within a day or 2 on the app/by calling before it existed (#theworst).

I've only eaten at San Angel Inn so I can't compare them, but I thought the food was excellent. The atmosphere was beautiful. The service was ok but a bit slow. Given that it was near the end of the day in the middle of my trip, I really didn't mind and appreciated being off my feet longer. If I had been in a hurry I would have been annoyed though.

Have to side with this. We always go, and the food/atmosphere is great and the lack of service while annoying is a nice break, especially in the summer.

I have not eaten at Tutto Italia, but have been to San Angel Inn twice in the past year. We really enjoy it there. After reading a lot on these boards, we opted to get a few appetizers to share and one entree. Their appetizers are really delicious and so is their avocado margarita.

I don't remember what it was called but I got the chicken with the cream sauce. We did not get an appetizer. My dessert was amazing too. It was the vanilla custard dessert. I also don't remember the name. I am gluten free and love when I can try some of the fancy desserts on the menu and not just get a brownie or ice cream.

Tostadas de Tinga is the one that stands out in my mind. We ordered two the second time we went. Delicious!

Bot are good but very different experiences...

TuttoItalia is one of the best TS in EPCOT..The food, the staff all is very good.

SAI is fun and the ambience/setting is really themed well...The food, while not exceptional, is still good..Staff there was attentive...

I know that doesn't help much, but it really depends on what you're looking for?
