Tutto Italia on DDP for 2008?

A couple of weeks ago, I made a reservation for January, 2008 for Tutto Italia. At the time the CM told me that it was not yet on the DDP for '08, but recommended I make the reservation and check back to see if it was added. While on the phone with Disney today for other reasons, I asked if it had been added. CM put me on hold to check, came back and said yes.

I just saw an "updated" list of restaurants but it was not on there. Does anyone have official list of restaurants which are part of the DDP for 2008? Thanks so much!!

As far as we know, it hasn't yet been added. Some people, myself included, have been told it has, but the official word from the supervisor I spoke with on Monday when the updated list came out is that they are still pending, as are Tokyo Dining and Teppan Edo. I was told to call back on Dec 1.

I have reservations at Tutto Italia for May 5th and when I booked it a few weeks ago, I was also told to call back and check to see if it would be part of the 2008 DDP. Well, I just did and I was told it is now part of DDP for 2008 and it will be 1 TS credit.

Interesting. I called yesterday and was told there is no update to the status of any of the 3 I've been checking every Monday. Hope your info is the right info!

I just called Disney Dining and was told Tutto IS NOT yet on the 2008 dining plan. Agggghhhhh! I was hoping to get a third confirmation.

Well, since the dining CM & supervisor I spoke with on one call a few weeks ago said to check back after Dec 1, I'm going to break my pattern of calling every Monday (okay, I'm a tad obsessed, but I have free long distance so it isn't hurting anything! ) and call over the weekend. I'll post back if I get anything other than a "maybe" or a "call back in a few days/weeks".

Just called and made an ADR for 2/16. CM says they haven't decided yet if they'll be on DDP. I can't imagine a restaurant being on park property and NOT being on DDP. How confusing would that be?

Especially, since I've been told several times by CMs that it is on the DDP. I asked this morning if it was on in 2008. I was told again, yes, it's on the plan. I asked her to make sure....she said it' s showing in the "drop down box" that it's on the plan. I had her ask her supervisor...she came back and told me it's not on the DDP for 2008...yet. If Tutto isn't added for 2008, there are going to be many unhappy DDP customers. I'm sure there have been many that have booked this and told it is on the plan.

That's the confusion. It is on the 2007 DDP. As of yesterday, it was not on 2008...yet.

If they do not sign up for the 2008 DDP they will probably wonder why so many cancel on them.
Last I heard they were going to close down some time in 2008 for renovations. So that may be what the hold up is. Maybe they have to iron out those dates.
I think that was the rumor I read some time ago. So I could be wroing. Or things could have changed in the meantime too.

I know Tutto is here only temporarily, but it's not the only one that hasn't signed up. So, who knows....

We have a two week trip planned for January and will be on the DDP.

About two weeks ago I called for 407-WDW-DINE and asked if Tutto Italia and Teppan Edo were on the 2008 DDP. At that time they said Teppan Edo was on the plan and Tutto Italia was still in negotiations. The person was fairly certain Tutto would be included. She said to call back in a week or two to check on the status.

I spoke with DVC MS this morning asked if Tutto Italia and Teppan Edo were on the 2008 DDP. She was kind enough to look it up for me instead of transfering me to a Dining operator. She said that YES both were on the plan and 1 TS (as expected) credit each. So I guess the last confirmation will be to wait for the latest release from Disney to make sure it is on the list. BUT MS was reading it off of her computer and quoted the number of credits, so I am banking on it.

Confirmation #2. Spoke with Disney Dining CM and was told they were informed today that Tutto IS on the DDP for 2008. It is only one credit. Yeah!!!

I spoke with Disney Dining last week. Although I did not ask about Tutto Italia, I did ask about Yaki & Yeti and Teppan Edo. She said that she could neither confirm or deny that it would be on the 2008 DDP. Also, she could not give me a date when they would know.

I called this morning and made a ressie for Teppan Edo for April 17th and the lady told me that they were still in negotiations and that I would have to call back in a couple of weeks to find out if they were on the 2008 DDP. I am confused now. I can't see the restaurant being in a Disney park not being on the DDP.
