Tutto Italia closing?

I read in a bigger thread that this is closing in Spring of 09.

Is this true?

We are planning to make reservations to here for May 23rd. I'm gonna be extremely bummed if it's not there, it's one of the meals I'm looking forward to most.

Hi,

I will believe that when I see it! It was originally supposed to close last year for a complete remake, but that never happened.

Until Disney offically announces that it is closing, I would assume it will be open.

We were there in April and Oct and both times I asked the manager if there was any date the restaurant was closing for revamping and both times they said no, the response to the new menu was huge so they did not have any plans in the future to close it.

Lets hope they were both correct because we are planning on dinner there in Oct

This has been a rumor since Alfredos ( the original Italian restaurant) closed and Tutto opened.The original plan was that Tutto was not to be permanent.Since then it has been popular and they left it opened.Closing Tutto has been discussed since the summer 2007 , and it has yet to happen.

It's so new. Why would they close it?

The original plan was it was never supposed to be permanent.It was supposed to be a temporary place .That was over 2 yrs ago.Please do not stress about it.
