Tusker House

Which characters are at the Tusker House breakfast? Any opinions on the buffet?

We went to Tusker house a couple years ago and i dont like to use this word to describe something in disney but it was disgusting! The food was almost inedible, and it was dirty.

We went for lunch so I don't know about the breakfast, but if the lunch is gross I can't imagine that the breakfast is good.

Best breakfast in the park out of the character breakfasts imo (although I love O'Hanas as well). The juice is wonderful. Always had good service. Standard breakfast fare plus some African inspired dishes to try. Very, very good. Last time I was with a 9 yr old and another adult. All of us liked it.

Oh and we had Daisy, Mickey, Pluto and Donald if I remember correctly. No Minnie. Just seeing Daisy's shoes was great.

We went last August and the characters were Mickey, Daisy, Goofy and Donald was outside in the front. Donald is only available to take photos, he does not come inside the restaurant. There was lots of interaction with the characters. We loved the buffet, DS and I. We will definitely return there again

We enjoyed this meal last trip and are going again this year. Donald, Mickey, Goofy, Daisy (in their safari gear - very cute)... can't recall if any others. I read on the DIS that Donald is only outside for a picture, not inside. I don't remember noticing that but it was seconded...

Food was good, much better than what we ate at our other character buffet at H&V (lunch). Breakfast buffet - donuts, pastries, ham, waffles... the usual fare but everything was fresh and tasty.

Crowded and loud as you would expect. There was a cute little conga line with the kids and characters was fun and made for some great pictures. It was a nice start to our AK day and very close to KS to grab a FP before checking in and ride Safari after.

We love it! It is definitely one of our favorites. Buffet has broad, good selection. I think the food is better than most breakfast buffets at wdw and we love the juice,as well. Characters are good. Service is average to good. Love 8am breakfast cause can head over to get in line for something before they let the hordes in.

Glad to hear, I was hoping it would be close enough we could go grad fast passes first!!

I think it ties with the Cape May for the best character breakfast!
