I totally did NOT get the memo about requesting a table in a quiet room. We ate there on Friday afternoon for lunch, and it was so incredibly loud. We were in the middle of everything, and there was noise from every direction. We loved the food and really would have liked to stay longer, but all of us (not just my 2 boys with sensory issues) had to get out of there. At the end of our meal, I took DD to the bathroom, and on our way we passed a small and very quiet room. I wish we had been seated there.

Just a little warning to anyone else who might be heading there.

FWIW- We also dined at CM, Akershus, H&V, and CP. Tusker House was by far the loudest and most stressful. Too bad because we also thought the food was the best out of all of them.

1) Next time, ask for "The Closet".
2) That is the nickname of the small/tiny room in rhe Right-Rear of the eatery.

Thank you! Our trip was so wonderful that we are already hoping to return to WDW some time in 2015. Tusker House is on DH's must-do list. We will definitely make a special request next time. :thumbsup2

I'm glad you posted this. My son has mostly outgrown his issues with noise (sometimes he needs earplugs, but he is getting better at dealing with it), but I know a lot of kids have trouble in these environments. Also avoid the Rainforest Cafe and TRex, they are super loud and over stimulating. My son loves it now, but when he was little he couldn't take it, and the Rainforest Cafe was the biggest flop on that trip. On our last trip we did TRex and ended up in the Ice Cave room. I do not recommend. The kids were OK, but the adults were having issues with the noise and the blue lighting. The other areas look much quieter and really cool, but the blue lights gave me a headache and made the food look really gross.
