Tusker House...thoughts??

I have never been to the Tusker House. What do you think of it?

We LOVE it, can't wait to go back in August!!!

The selection of food is great, everything is fresh and the Tucker House Buffet is set up in Pod's, it doesn't seem as crowded.

you should give it a try!

We had our doubts being a little put out by them closing the original restaurant but we decided to try the new Tusker House. We were very pleasantly surprised and they still served one of my favorites from the old place...the salmon.

We enjoyed it so much we ended up eating there twice!

Loved it in Sept '08 for breakfast... going back in Sept '09 to try for dinner ressies.

As PP stated, good fresh food, many options for everyone to enjoy. And the characters were fun!

We ate there on April 30th for breakfast and we loved it. Good food selection and the kids had a blast with the characters, would definitely eat there again.

It was hands-down our favorite meal of the trip last August! We went for lunch and loved the wide variety of choices....

we have only been for lunch and it is hands down one of our favorite places to go. Love all the fresh choices, lots of things I eat at home but don't find in WDW so great.

We loved it. The breakfast food is really good. You don't have to wait in line for food because of the pods.

We had it for dinner, and it was very good. There was a big variety and even I (a self-admitting picky eater) found plenty that I enjoyed. Definitely worth a try!

^^^ Do they have character dining at lunch or dinner? Or are the character only there during breakfast? Just curious as I would like to try it for either lunch or dinner.

Okay sounds like a must try. One more question I am traveling with kids 12 and 14. They are there for the rides. I don't want to see their breakfast again (if you know what I am saying) so how do you handle that? Eat early and then hit the parks? I was thinking having like cereal in the room (something light and then grabbing dinner or lunch at a sit down).
