Looking for advice from people that have done the Tusker house lunch with seating for the 3:15 show...Is this a time saver? Do you enter through another area so you don't have to waste time in line...if so, how long prior to the show do you have to be there. Thanks!!

We did this during xmas week this year and it was great! We had missed the show the last 2 visits so it was worth it. We loved the food at the buffet..you are given a pass from your waitperson and you enter from a rear entrance..you must walk by the stand-by line until about 1/2 way to the entrance where you will see a sign for the package..you cut through the line and a CM is there to direct you to the back entrance..we had our choice of seats in an empty theatre we had perfect view! wonderful show..I would do it again!

How does one reserve or book this package?

We're planning a Tusker House lunch during our September trip.

Just wondering-- can this be gotten on the dining plan, same as the Candlelight Processional and other dining events? Thanks!

to get this perk you simply need to have a lunch ADR for Tusker 1pm-1.40pm.

If you still have to be there 30 minutes before show time, what is the advantage? Is there normally a wait more than 30 minutes?

This is really the only thing on our must see list for AK since it is about the only thing we have not seen. We have a 1:10 lunch reservation, but I just wonder if we would be better off to see this show in the morning. My babies normally nap from 1:30 - 3:30, so I am just thinking we may be better off seeing a morning show of Nemo. Thoughts?

Here's the question I forgot to ask: WHERE is the Nemo show? Is it i the Theater in the Wild (not airconditioned) or in a new facility (air conditioned)? When I was last at AK, Dec 08, we only did the safari, Everst, Lion King show and left the park, so I don't remember noticing where it was.

If it is at the TITW location, I may go and try for the first show also. I don't know if I can put up with the mid-day heat and humidity (desert dweller here) as we are planning resort breaks every day about that time.

It's in the TIIW (same theater that Tarzan Rocks was in), but they remodeled it and it is now completely enclosed and air conditioned. :thumbsup2 I'm actually more worried because depending on how the time plays out we may end up doing Kali before Nemo and I'm afraid we're going to freeze to death!

Also, to the OP, just to let you know it's high on the list right now for reserving. I called this morning right at 7 (and got through with no wait). I booked Le Cellier, couldn't get 'Ohana, then tried for this. She could easily get me 12:50 or 1:50, but nothing during either Nemo package time. Today was my 90 days, but that would have been my +3 day. I didn't try other days since that's the only day we'll be at AK.

I do think if you see the 11:30 show (usually the earliest other than during peak periods) that you really can get there a half hour beforehand and get in fine. We did it mid summer and got there about 10:45 and were maybe 20th in line (in a theater that holds 500ish)!

It is a special for the 3:15 show, only.

I know that, my question is what is the benefit if you still have to be there 30 minutes before the show.

For those that have been to the morning shows, how long did you wait?

For those that have done the priority seating, were your seats better than if you have just stood in the regular line?
