Tusker House Q's

We are taking our almost 2 year old to Disney this year. I would love to do the Tusker House breakfast after hearing reviews, but have a question.

My husband wants to do a character meal if it has a "classic, traditional" Mickey. I am guessing these characters are dressed up in safari gear? Can anybody verify this for me?

Last Sept. we had Minnie, Goofy, Daisy and Donald all in safari gear. It was a great meal!

Editing...looked at the pictures and it was Mickey, not Minnie.

Yep, safari gear. I don't know if you can find traditional Mickey at any character breakfast. My kids were soooooo disappointed (they told me this on the plane home) that they didn't meet "the red pants" Mickey. We saw safari Mickey, chef Mickey, Hawaiian Mickey, Sorcerer Mickey, Pirate Mickey, etc, but not "red pants" Mickey.

Yes he's in safari gear. I think the only place you get traditional Mickey is in the Judge's tent.

We Tusker House breakfast. The food, the characters, everything is so good and fun!

In addition to the Judge's Tent at MK, he is in his regular clothes at the Character Connection in Epcot. I don't know of any character meals where he is dressed that way.
