Hi all,

I just booked a Tusker House breakfast for 8:15 AM one of our days that we're in Animal Kingdom. Few questions for anyone that might have done a PPO Tusker House.

1) Are there photographers available for empty Tree shots?

2) We were there for rope drop last year and hit Pocahontas first and I remember how they held us back quite a ways. So I'm assuming it is great for positioning for the Safaris, and with our little ones, might be beneficial. But doesn't look like it would be great positioning for FOP and River Journey. Seems like a lot of back tracking, but maybe I'm wrong.

3) Any other advantages I might be able to use for having it?

You're at a definite disadvantage if you want to ride anything in Pandora.

A PPO Breakfast at DAK is not much of an "advantage" of any kind.
(Except for just eating breakfast.)

If your goal is an advantage in riding attractions, then arrive very early at DAK
and head directly to an attraction when they allow guests.
A later ADR (well after PO) would be a better use of time.

We'll have a 1 year old with us, so we'll need a midday break back to the resort for sure. So I guess I just figure that if we eat breakfast there, we can be the first to ride the Safari standby, maybe "Tough to be a Bug" before then going to the Lion King for the 10 AM showing. Maybe walk around and see some of the animals, then leave to the resort until coming back around 4 PM to get our son a nap/rested and out of the heat of the middle of the day. Come back and see the Nemo musical and fastpass FOP (river journey doesn't interest us). Then use a fastpass to ride the Safari again perhaps, followed by mom and dad enjoying Everest with fastpasses/rider switch during the late evening.

Beyond the two attractions, what else is there to do in Pandora (besides just walking around and looking at everything obviously)?

I would not take a one-year old into It's Tough to Be a Bug.

Lol, no. Sorry. We have a 6 year old girl and a 1 year old boy. Meant that one of us would take our daughter to see Tough to be a bug before the Lion King show.

I would think long and hard about a six-yr-old in ITtBaB, too.
(I love the attraction, but I've seen many kids shrieking in fear and parents carrying them out during the show.)

She went on it when she was 4...I was surprised she liked it then!

That's cool.
As long as you both know what to expect.
As I said, I love it, too.

How did your PPO Tusker House and heading straight to Kilimanjaro work for you? We are planning to do the same thing with an 8:20am ADR but arriving at 8am to see if we can get seated early.

In Pandora I would actually recommend encouraging your daughter to go and touch and play with the plants and rocks (that aren't specifically behind railings or far off the paths of course) as there are lots of Easter Eggs dotted around the area where creatures may react (i.e. spitting water) or you can hear Banshee calls when you trip the hidden sensors. There is also a show they do in there where they encourage audience participation.
