We are trying Tusker House for the first time. With some character meals (1900 PF, CHef Mickey's) they take photos with a Disney photographer before the meal. Other like Garden Grill do not have Photopass photographers. What about Tusker House? TIA!

No Photopass at Tusker from my recollection. There definitely is no picture beforehand like Chef Mickey's or H&V dinner

Theres a photopass photographer that will take a picture of you and your family, before you eat, in front of a small area with a Tusker House Restuarant sign in the background.
It used to be a picture with Donald but they don't do that anymore.

It's been a couple of years since we last ate at TH. Do they not still take your picture with Donald outside while the other characters visit your table inside?

Three years ago when we went they did a family shot with Donald. Last December they did not, but Donald now comes around to your table inside.

We were just there the other day. No, they do not take photos with a Disney photographer before the meal. I know it's not the same, but could always ask a family next to you to take one of your whole family while the characters are at your table and then you take one for them...

1) All are outside the eatery, and without characters.
2) To us (personally) not such a big deal.

We ate there last month. No photopass photographers that I saw but plenty of character interaction. This was one of the best character breakfast meals on property, IMO. The food was tasty and the characters were great! I also had a great CM experience there - my daughter was using a Fujifilm Instax Mini cameras that spit out the pic right away (think old school polaroid) and the CM suggested having each of the characters sign in the white spot underneath the pic. Those pictures turned into fabulous souvenirs! Whatever you decide, enjoy your trip Hollvoll!

No longer a photopass photographer in January, but our seater did offer to take one in front of the backdrop if we chose.

We were just there on April 15th, first reservation of the day (8am) and there were not any photographers. We snapped our own pictures because there wasn't a cast member with them. We asked the table next to us before the characters came out if they would mind taking our picture for us if we did it for them. It worked out well. Have fun! The food was excellent and the Jungle Juice is just as good as everyone says!:)

No pictures, but the characters visit all the tables and invite the kids to do a line dance every hour. Great food on the buffet, and the kids love the characters. We always get lunch there when we're at AK.

This has varied, I will say. We've been three times: first time was a photo op with Donald before the meal, second was photo op with just our family before the meal, and the last time (November) was no photo.

Just to add one other thing: I don't know how early your reservation is for but we had an issue with transportation. We asked several CMs because we heard varying things about the bus times. We had an 8am reservation with a 9am rd. We went out to wait for the bus around 6:45am or so (about an hour before our res). When we got there the board said the next bus was at 6:59, then it kept pushing back every few minutes, 7:10, 7:25. At around 7:10 it was giving an estimate of 7:30. So when it hit 7:30 we were no longer confident we would get to our res on time so we just called a Taxi, which happened to be in the parking lot. Worked out perfectly. They dropped us off even closer to the gate then the buses. This didn't seem to be an issue for Magic Kingdom though. We saw 4 buses come and go in 20 minutes or so.:)
