Tusker House Photographer

I'm sure this question has been asked, and answered, but I'm only finding older responses. And as we know, things at Disney change all the time, so I wanted to check on the current scoop. As of now (or recently), when are the photographers at Tusker House, and are they in the main dining room with the characters? I've heard they're there just for breakfast, and if so, how long do they linger? We've got a reservation right now for 10:45, but if they are there and we might miss them, I'm going to try to get an earlier ADR. This is our only character meal, so I really want to take advantage of the opportunity if I can.

There are no photographers at Tusker House.

Right. There used to be a Photopass Photographer outside who would take your picture with Safari Donald, but that has not been available for several years. Since they come directly to the tables, we have gotten some great shots.

Last October 2015- there was one outside (after checking in) taking a pic. That was for breakfast and no more Donald Duck. Just the background.

January 2017- also breakfast and no photographer outside.
