Tusker House or Yak and Yeti

I am trying to decide for lunch? What would you pick- Tusker House or Yak and Yeti?

Haven't tried Tusker House but had a very good lunch at Yak & Yeti in Sept. It was actually one of our favorite meals of the trip.

I would pick Tusker House. I've heard more consistently good things, and I'd feel safer at a buffet because if I didn't like something - I could just go get something else.

We went to Yak n' Yeti on our recent trip twice. We didn't get to Tusker House, because it was a buffet.

Yak and Yeti hands down, they had great food!

You cannot go wrong with either! Both have excellent food.

Consider, though, that Y&Y is a sitdown, so food is theoretically cooked to order, while TH is a buffet, so food is cooked in larger quantities. (Food is usually still very fresh, as turnover is high.) There is also a limited number of choices at Y&Y compared to TH because of their different styles, and accomodating your food for preference is more difficult and may not be able to be done at TH. TH does give you the opportunity to try many new things and get more of the things you like.

The food at Yak and Yeti is fantastic. It was one of the best meals (toss up between there and Jiko) we had on our trip.

We go to Tusker House every time we are at Animal Kingdom, which is about once every month or two. Perhaps I am bias but I would say, definitely give this place a shot. The Israeli couscous is my fave, and DS2's too. He asks for it at home. I actually had to go to a specialty store to find it, but I manage to recreate it and he loves it!
