Tusker House or Chef Mickey?

Which do you perfer for breakfast? We have done Chef Mickey twice and thought it would be nice to try someplace new. Thanks for any advise!

We loved Tusker House. Chef Mickey's was just Ehhh for us.

We love Chef Mickeys, have never done Tusker House. We were going to last time we were there, but they were renovating. I say try something new, I'm always up for a change! You may not like it, but you will never know unless you try it!

I agree with you on Chef Mickey's. I don't like how they've setup where you take a photo with Mickey beforehand. One thing that irked me was that we weren't told that we could just skip the photo session and get seated immediately. We were giving a pager by a CM and told that when it buzzed our table would be ready and to wait in the line for a photo with Mickey and come to realize that we "didn't have" to get our picture with him.

I'll echo the sentiments and go with Tusker House. Really nice getting an early ADR and having photo ops of AK without anyone around. Better food, less crowded and now with Mickey being unavailable at tables, it's a no-brainer for us if picking one.

We have just come back from our first visit and were lucky enough to do both .............. for us it was Tusker House

Just did tusker house for the first time this month,
we all loved it and I think it has better food than the CM breakfast!

Def will go back,
the only thing is Donald does not walk around, he is at the front taking pics,and does not sign autographs (unless they changed it!)

Tusker House hands down! The food, character interaction and service was far better than that at CM's. Plus you get to see Daisy at TH and she can be a hard duck to track down otherwise.

Tusker house for us...They had the normal Disney foods plus they add different items which were very good.

Sorry to hijack but I have been debating the same thing. I keep going back and forth between the two.

Also does anyone know the prices for Tusker House? They weren't listed on the menus page like Chef Mickey's was.

We like both Chef Mickey's and Tusker House for different reasons. We did both again last May. I do like the juice at Tusker House too!
