Tusker House or Chef Mickey

Which do you like best for a character breakfast? Which one has the better food?

my family loves both of these breakfasts, however we like tuskerhouse because an early reservation gets you in the park earlier!

We went to Tusker House for breakfast and loved it! The food was amazing, the staff was amazing, and the characters were amazing!

We went to Chef Mickey's for dinner and were not impressed. The food was average at best. The dessert bar was really cool though.

Ive never eaten at Chef Mickeys so this review might be a little biased. I LOVED Tusker house breakfast. We just went there this past Saturday morning and had an 8:05 ressie. It was great getting into the park early. The food was great, the buffet area was huge so there was no standing in lines. The characters were great, they goofed off alot w/us and we just had so much fun! Plus they got all the kids out on the floor dancing and shaking maracas.

What about Tusker House vs. Cape Mays for breakfast?

I would say Tusker House is tops in both comparisons. We loved the variety and taste of the food at Tusker House. Our boys loved the characters in safari clothing too! We did Cape May and waited an HOUR to be seated for breakfast. That is not a good thing with two boys under 5. We felt rushed the whole time at Cape May, and we weren't rushed at all at Tusker House.

I'm all for Tuskar House..... so much better then Chef
Mickey's. On our first trip to the world we ate at chef mickey's for breakfast and LOVED it....however on our last trip in Jan...we didn't like it at all. I remember leaving hungry. But tuskar house is a must do for our family...we loved it!!!

Does Tusker House serve waffles or anything like that at breakfast or is it mainly an egg type meal?

We ate at all 3 last week for breakfast and honestly the best food is at Tusker House and the best character interaction is at CM! I hate CM for dinner, food is terrible. So either Tusker or CM for breakfast!

Characters are better at Chef Mickey's.

Food is better at Tusker House.

If given the choice I would go with Tusker House.

It depends where you are going to be that day. If your going to AK then Tusker House if not Chef Mickeys. Love Chef Mickey's.

Here's our (long) history with these two.

Chef Mickey's was on our list for dinner for 3 years. Each year, it was worse and worse. So this August, we switched to breakfast there, thinking we'd like it better. It was mediocre.

Tusker House, on the other hand, was very very good.

No question for us--Tusker House all the way. We'll be back there on Dec. 22 but no one in my family asked to go back to Chef Mickey's.

I've eaten at both and Chef Mickey's is no where close to Tusker House. The food is better at Tusker, the interaction is better, and I've found the overall experience is better. There is much more variety on the food. Instead of just coming by each table the characters get the kids up and they dance and interact. We go every year now.
