Tusker House lunch???

we've been to Tusker House for breakfast and LOVE it! How is lunch there?

Thank you :)

Before they turned into a character meal, we really enjoyed it. I thought the variety and quality of the food was pretty good.

Hope you like it.

:)

Same here. We enjoyed the selection and for me, for the first time ever the bread pudding. LOL. This was before character days though, so it's been awhile. More significantly, it was pre-DDP days. :guilty:

We were just there in January for dinner. I think lunch and dinner have the same menu. We were 4 adults and 2 kids (ages 7 & 5). Everyone in our party really enjoyed it. There was a lot of variety, with a few "different" things thrown in!

I just ate there last Saturday, and was pleased to see that the offerings on the buffet seem to be the same as before it was a character meal. The African-style offerings make it the most interesting in-park buffet restaurant on property, although the characters have made the cost somewhat more expensive than it used to be. (We skipped the photo with Donald at check-in, since we wanted to get in and start eating!)

I found that by arriving during the time in between late breakfast and the lunch hours, it was quite quiet, and actually got multiple visits from all the characters.

Try the bread pudding with vanilla sauce for dessert - it's fabulous.

How can anyplace that has bread pudding on the menu be bad?:lmao: Seriously, we really enjoyed the food there, and loved the atmosphere.

Was there for lunch last weekend. It was good. Loved the Pork and Beef and Mashed Potatoes. Not into bread pudding, so never tried it. My DD4 did not like anything on the kids section. Luckily there was a nice chef who made her chicken fingers and fries especially for her. The atmosphere was great and both my kids loved the characters.

It's a must-do for us on our family trips. I liked it better when you could get special seating for the Finding Nemo show with a 1-1:45pm lunch ADR, but the food is just as good and the CMs are just as wonderful.

We have this on our list to try on our next trip. Seems like it has some good vegetarian options.

We ate there a few years ago for lunch and really enjoyed it. Even my picky kids enjoyed the food. We are hoping to get an ADR there for our trip in Dec.
