Tusker House - Donald's Autograph?

We are going to TH for breakfast very soon!!!!

We went last year and I remember taking the picture with Donald outside but I can't remember if he was allowed to sign autograph books. For some reason, I don't think he was, but I would appreciate it if someone could confirm or deny.

We ate there in Feb 2010 and he was not signing. His handler was actually quite rude about it and was telling everyone to get their autographs from Donald at Camp Minnie Mickey.

Really? The only CD I have done are, Garden Grill, Lillo & stitch and Hollywood & Vine. They did.

I guess I better call and find out so I can cancel.

We ate there for breakfast last week and he came around in the restaurant and we got pics and an autograph without a problem. All of the handlers and staff were very lovely. He wasn't outside for the picture before going in.

It was our first time there so not sure if this was standard practice or not. There was a call for heavy rain so not sure if this had any impact as well.

We were not able to get his autograph either in January. We got our pics taken with him. He did not come inside.

Still a very good breakfast though.

Donald signed my son's autograph book out front when we took the picture. This was in December 2010. All they asked is that we had the book open to the page and had it ready to sign.

Wow, seems kind of inconsistent.

I guess I'll be ready w/ the book open and pen out and have my DD3 ask with a big smile!

We were there Sept 2010 and not allowed to get Donald's autograph.

Fortunately I had already read on DIS this may be the case and forewarned the kids. We caught Donald at Epcot later in the trip.
