Tusker House Dinner vs Boma dinner

We have eaten dinner at Boma and absolutely love that place. DD and I are taking a quick long weekend trip to WDW. We won't have a car so, as much as we would like to dine at Boma, we don't want to take the time to make the bus transfers to get to Boma and back to our resort. We will be at AK one day and are wondering if anyone has had the dinner buffet at Tusker House. How does it compare with Boma. Will we be disappointed?

We had a grand gathering safari buffet at Tusker last year - the grand gathering safari after park hours was great - the dinner at Tusker was fine - neither memorably good or bad.

Eaten both at Boma and Tusker house and half of my family prefers Tusker house over Boma. So I don't think you will be disappointed.

They are very similar. There are more choices at Boma and I prefer it out of the two but if it isn't an option TH is a great runner up. I would suggest doing lunch at Tusker House instead of dinner because the food is almost identical but you get lunch instead of dinner prices.

I've eaten at both and enjoyed them both. Boma is "fancier" and does have more choices, but the Tusker house is terrific. We will be enjoying lunch there again this trip because we enjoyed it so much.

Tusker House was one of our favorites from last year. I liked it as much as Boma and my husband liked it more.

We've had dinner at both. We much prefer Tusker House. We were disappointed in our trip to Boma this December. It was not bad, but it was not great either. But Tusker House was very good.

We love both! Being in AK makes tusker house very easy though. The samosas and seafood curry type dish are amazing at TH, and the buffet is very easy to get seconds without waiting forever like sometimes at Boma. We have ADR's to both this coming April, enjoy!

We now eat at Tusker House instead of Boma. They are very similar but TH is more convenient for non-AKL guests, and I really don't care for the other ts offerings at AK.
