Tusker House dinner cancelled?

My mom made ADR's for dinner at Tusker House for this weekend but got a call back saying they are not open for dinner.

When did this change??

Sorry-that was a typo. I meant DAK. She made dinner ADR's a few weeks ago at Tusker House. They called her today saying Tusker House is not open for dinner.

It's for 2/10! I can't believe they waited this long to tell her! Now, they have no dinner ADR's for that night

I don't know why they told her that because after reading your e-mail i called to confirm and i still have a dinner reservation at tusker house on 2/12 at 4:20pm.

I know when we were there for dinner in November, there was almost no one there... and I didn't love it, either... (although there were a couple of yummy things)

The guy on the phone told my mother that they "decided not to be open for dinner that night" ?? I'm wondering if they are closing it for a wedding or something? Seems very strange to cancel her just a few days before her scheduled ADR...

could be a special event, or that there just weren't enough bookings to justify their staying open for a couple hours for dinner. AK closes early.

Hi,

Don't worry too much there are still places they can get in for TS as they don't take ADRs. They may not be the "best" places. The Big River Grille and the ESPN Club at the Boardwalk and Beaches & Cream at the Beach Club are three that don't take ADRs and if the DDP is a concern they are on it. Beaches and Cream serves mostly sandwiches and burgers, but it's very popular, so they would want to get there early. I'm not sure about the ESPN Club or Big River Grille. The Big River Grille is the only microbrewery on property but also serves pub food. I think there are also a few places at DTD that also don't take ADRs.

Did WDW offer to give them ADR's somewhere else? It seems like they should get them in somewhere else since Tusker House cancelled on them.

We are booked for Feb 20th at Tusker House for supper. I just booked one week ago.
