Tusker House Character Breakfast

Our TH resservation was for 10:25AM, so it was closer to lunch time. There was a lot of breakfast offerings, including Mickey Waffles, and carved ham and meat as well as tator tots. The character interaction didn't seemed at all rushed to us. The restaurant was not as crowded as for earlier ressies. We had Donald, Daisy, Goofy, and Mickey visit our table and take pictures with us. The dance parade was adorable. We would definitely go back to TH. Here are some pictures from our breakfast there this past June.

Hands-down our favorite character meal! Such a good variety of food without being too weird, great character interaction, and so close to the Safari for rope drop

We did this character meal this past February and loved it! Great selection of food even for my picky children. I absolutely loved the bread pudding they had and my DH couldn't get enough of the juice they served. Characters did a little conga line dance with african instruments and asked the kids to join in so it was really fun for them! I always recommend it to friends who want to try something other than Chef Mickey's. The only thing I can think of to make it even better is if they would just include Minnie in the fun!

Safari Donald was only in front of the restaurant last week - and then they try to charge you $30+ for the photo package.

The house juice was really good, and they had the Mickey Head waffles this past week (they were only in the kid's serving area, so I had to squat down a bit to reach them)

Yep - Donald only in front for the posed photo - Columbus Day weekend for us. Daisy, Minnie & Goofy circulated and led the little parade for the kids.

So glad to hear you had a good experience! We have a 10:20 ressie next week and were worried about the food quality & character interaction that late in the morning. Glad to hear both were good!

Ouch!! Do I smell an "all inclusive photo package" coming to Tusker House? I've been expecting all characer meals to go the way of CRT (regarding the photos).

They did warn us when we entered that Donald would only be posing up front with us, and not in the restaurant. They also told us that Donald would not do autographs at this time either.

Food was pretty good....excellent selection of traditional and non traditional breakfast items (including mickey waffles). Lots of donuts and pastries. try the special juice...forget the name - but it's pretty good!

BTW - the pics they sell ar $30 and the ones they wanted to sell us were sort of blurry and not a good picture at all. We passed!

We love the food and characters at this meal. It is a "must do" for our upcoming trip. We have 8:00 ADRs and then we will head right the Safari!

I thought this was the best for character interaction AND breakfast! We loved it that its the ONLY restaurant we are returning to from our last trip! We saw Donald, Daisy, Goofy and Mickey!

I completely agree! Can't wait to take my boys with me this time.
