Tusker House changes?

For our next trip (May 2007) I budgeted for Tusker House counter service, not Tusker House buffet! We really don't want restaurant character style place for lunch. So we are forced to pay extra money for something we don't want. We don't want BBQ on a hot day...I guess I will have to get the prices for the park carts instead.

Guess we're in the minority here. TH & the newly changed food court in The Land are the only two restaurants in the World that my family refuses to eat at! Can find absolutely nothing that my family will eat at TH except macaroni & cheese, even DH gets two kids' servings 'cause that's all he'll eat! I'd welcome a change to that restaurant. We always eat at Flame Tree - only place we can all find something to eat!

There seems to be some confusion over which safari is which.
There are at least 5 different ticketed "safari" experiences that I can think of.

1) Sunrise Safari -- open to Animal Kingdom Lodge Concierge guests, costs around $55 adult, on Killimanjaro Safari (regular ride vehicles) at photo op pace before park opening. Includes (delicious!) buffet breakfast (no characters, but I remember musical performance) at Tusker House in the little schoolroom. Included traditional breakfast stuff as well as African dishes unique to this buffet (no Boma overlap). I haven't done one of these in a while so memory is rusty (returning January 28th, though!) but my fave was this simple dish of fried eggs and sliced green tomatoes. Yum!

I was about to post how interesting it was that I would attend this on Jan 28 too, what a coincidence, then I saw who posted this.
