Tusker House ADR January 2014

Hey,
SO I made ADR for 9:00 am which is park opening. Now I am concerned with that being the best time for Safari. Should I try to change ADR to later and hit Safari first thing or just go with it? Want to see the most animals. Thanks in advance!

Rope drop is prime touring time. I would either change the ADR to a pre park opening time or make it for later in the morning.

I prefer to dine pre-opening because the best time to tour is usually early, IMHO.

I considered the same scenario. I opted for a 10:10AM reservation so that we can have both breakfast and lunch during our dining time. Also, we could hit the safari first thing!

That's another good idea because Kilimanjaro Safari is not far from Tusker House.

Hi - I am looking for hours for Tusker House. I was trying to get an early lunch at 11 am on Jan. 1st although the only available time was 10:40 am. I can't find the hours for the month of Jan. Its kind of in between breakfast and lunch - do you think that we will get an option of both menus? And my sister said that Donald and his friends do not make appearances at lunch - any truth to this?

I would argue by the time you are seated that only lunch will be served. The advertised lunch time begins at 11:00AM; however, some previous visitors have heard that lunch switches at around 10:45AM. You'll be taking pics with Donald before you get seated. Characters are at both breakfast and lunch here (not dinner).
