Ello Ello,

Ok I saw the TH @ 3:35 post and I am wondering something similar.

We have ressies at 10:10 for breakfast buffet. It states that breakfast is until 10:30. So do they start clearing and ushering you out at that time? Do we only have 20 min to eat?

I would think they wouldn't :confused3 but you never know. Has anyone else ever had a later breakfast ressie? How did it work out for you?

TIA

In places like Tusker House where the buffet is open all day, they do not close and chase you out when it shifts from one meal period to the other.

Usually, they just begin setting out lunch dishes as they clear out older breakfast dishes which have become depleted or have been out for their time limit and need to be replaced.

We do this at Crystal Palace quite often - get an ADR for the latest breakfast slot, and enjoy something more along the lines of brunch, starting with eggs and ending with roast chicken or whatever.

You are billed according to the meal period in effect at your booked ADR time.

Sounds like this could work out well for us then as they have changed the park hours to 8AM opening now. The day we're going also has EMH so opening will be at 7am.

Planning on at least doing the Safari and something else before hand. A brunch type deal doesn't sound too bad to me.

They definitely do not rush you out. The last 2 times we ate there - we didn't get seated until after 10:30 and were there while they put out the lunch items. Ok, ok, I'll admit - I visited the dessert section after they put the new selections out!

You have plenty of time to eat, and actually I recommend people go for a 10am time.

The food is really good, and with the later time you can accomplish alot at the park before the adr because am crowds are so light, then you'll not need to eat lunch or even dinner until pretty late so you can close the park without wasting more time at another restaurant. This allows you to do almost everything in AK in a day.

I think 10:10 is a good time to go! You'll still get to do RD at AK and enjoy the lighter crowds in the park and then enjoy lighter crowds in the restaurant as it changes over from breakfast to lunch.

We did a late breakfast at 'Ohana and got lots of character attention since we were one of the only tables in the restaurant.

Great plan!
