I'm thinking of doing Donald's breakfast. :donald: If you did it, How much did it cost? Did you like it? Was it worth the money?

I think breakfast is about $27??? But is soooo worth the money. They have the best breakfast selection!! Plus the characters are wonderful. :thumbsup2

We were on the DDP so I don't really remember the cost, but the food was good! However, the character interaction was not (for us anyway). We were seated at a table in a cramped corner and felt removed from much of the action. The characters barely hung around long enough to snap a pic or two.

Other than that, it has a cool atmosphere and good food!

allears.net says the cost is $28.75 and $15.97 for kids. We did this the first week in December - had never eaten there before. It was very good. We will be going back in September. I thought the character interaction was good, but hurried. The food was very good. My picky adult DD really thought the food had a variety not found at some other buffets.

This was pretty much our exact experience.

Do they have anything unusual that you can't get anywhere else like the puffed french toast at Crystal Palace? That's one reason why we keep returning to CP - the yummy french toast. My oldest is not into the Pooh characters any more.

This is a must do for us every trip. We love the breakfast here! The character interaction is a bit rushed. We love to get in the park though before park opening. This also puts you ahead of everyone to be able to ride the Safari. We are usually in the first vehicle out. The one disappointment is that Donald does not come around inside and you only see him briefly outside to have your picture taken with him. Donald Duck is my DD favorite character. We also love CP for getting into the park early and not as much for the food and characters. Really looking forward to trying the Cape May breakfast on the next trip to start out our Epcot morning!

Have been there three times... it's a must do for us! The food is wonderful wonderful... and is a bit cheaper than most other character buffets. We usually pay cash for this meal if we have an extra sit down, or one that takes two of our credits.... it's fun. We have never felt rushed at all.:goodvibes

We enjoyed the food, DD had fun with the "parade" but I have to agree the characters seemed rushed.

I thought it might have just been us, but we also thought the characters were rushed. We barely got 2 pictures with Mickey before he was gone, and Daisy was just as fast. Goofy was there for a few minutes.

The food is good, and we also liked being right at the safari to be one of the first groups out. That was awesome.

We ate breakfast there almost 3 yrs ago and the characters came around to our table so my cousins children could have their pictures taken. I don't quite remember the cost, maybe $25.99?? I thought it was worth it, my husband was not too thrilled about it. One thing that I really liked, and for the life of me I cannot remember what it was called or what kind it was, was the coffee!!! Does anyone by chance know what type or flavor of coffee their regular coffee is??

The Jungle Juice!! Oh, the wonderful juice! It's the same as what they serve at Boma; ambrosia from the Disney gods. Orange, passion, guava, I think.

I'm addicted to the chocolate croissants and my family raves about their carved ham. We eat there every time we go to WDW. We always go for free dining; I don't know if we'd pay OOP for it.

We ate there for the first time on Jan. 2. We loved the breakfast. A few different items than a "standard" buffet for sure. But we liked all our food, including anything standard. We didn't feel rushed even though we had a late ADR. The characters were pretty good . . . you can't get Donald's photo unless you buy the photo they took outside. Daisy was fine. Goofy it seemed skipped our back room, and we waited a while for him. Mickey was very patient b/c we didn't understand his "sign language" for the longest time. Lol. Poor Mickey; we felt pretty dumb!

My 9 year old daughter and I ate here for breakfast. We liked it - took our time eating and saw all the characters dressed in safari clothes (got pics with all of them). Daisy Duck danced through the restaurant with the kids parading behind her. Donald is only at the entrance and they take your pic with him, but if you want the pic, you have to purchase. We enjoyed our time and would go again.

This has to be my favorite character breakfast, and it has great theming. Love the characters all dressed up in their safari clothes.

The food choices are excellent, and I'm not sure if they do this anymore, but my server gave us fastpasses for the Nemo show. That was a nice extra perk!:thumbsup2

This is our favorite breakfast buffet and second(with O'hana being #1) favorite character meal. The food is excellent and Donald and gang are the best! I think the cost was $28 pp when we went last October. Enjoy!

Seriously Not an option for us to miss this breakfast. This is by farrrrrrr the best breakfast in WDW IMHO

2 Things DONUTS and JUNGLE JUICE

WHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAATTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT

We were there last year for the first time and loved it. We had the DDP so not sure of the cost.

Food was awesome and we had great interaction with the characters. I will say the weather was terrible the day we went and it was pouring down outside so they had Donald inside. Goofy was round at least twice and the rest stayed for enough time to get photos.

Went in '10 with my young nephews and son...food so so good, tons of choices, we were happy and stuffed. Goofy hung with us for a bit, it was nice, we were in one of the little rooms in the back. $27 or $28 sounds about right

Don't remember the price because we were on the dining plan. The line to take a photo with the characters and enter the restaurant was a bit obnoxious, and the dining areas were crowded. With that said, the buffet area is spacious and the food options were better than some of the other character buffets we attended. I felt the character interaction was a bit brief, but we still managed to get pics with Safari Mickey.
I plan on going again this year.
