My husband and I just returned from a short trip to Orlando for the purpose of exhibiting at a career fair at the international builder's show. Along with work we were able to spend one day (Saturday) in the parks and chose Epcot. Boy are we glad we did!

As you may or may not be aware, there is a new show in the Living Seas called Turtle Talk with Crush (the sea turtle from Finding Nemo). This was an incredibly entertaining, interactive show.

The attraction in a nutshell is a Q&A session with Crush. Crush is in a "tank" (screen) with a "hydrophone" which lets him talk with the audience. He can see and hear guests in the "human tank" to call on them to ask and answer questions. A humorous dialogue ensues. The show is different every time due to the audience participation.

My husband is a computer programmer and was blown away by the obvious about of programming and detail that went into this attraction. We both thoroughly enjoyed the witty banter.

This is a show that is great for park guests of all ages. The children like the chance to meet and talk to Crush and the adults can certainly appreciate the humor.

When planning your day at Epcot be sure to include this new attraction on your itinerary. You will not regret it.

If you don't trust my opinion, read more about it at:

This was one of our favorite activities last month. We went three times and had a lot of fun. He's so totally awesome!

This new show beats the new Stitch attraction hands-down (no offense to any Stitch fans). It shows that there is some imagination left in Imagineering.

I wish I got to see while I was last there. I love crush!! The stitch attraction wasn't so great. It'l be a definite must next time.

I definatly agree we have seen it twice now. And it is one of those show you can see 200 times over and its a different show each time. And whats so funny is when he makes fun of other Disney Characters. I think the adults have more fun in the show than some of the kids.

We went twice last trip. It was wonderful! Can't wait to see it again!

Our family eperienced The Talking to Crush attraction last month and loved it. My DS who is 3 1/2 was picked by Crush to ask a question, and he is still talking about it.

when we're there next week! We just heard great things about it from friends at church. We will have a couple cousins from Michigan along with us when we visit EPCOT and I'm sure they will really enjoy it! Thanks!

We loved this attraction. DS2, age 11, was called on by Crush. He referred to him as the dude with the red lid. Crush asked him if he could swim really fast and talked about water or something.
There was one little boy who just kept talking to Crush about his family. I'm sure they were embarrassed. The facial expressions of Crush while this boy was rambling on was priceless. Crush then asked the boy what grade he was in. The boy said Pre-K. Crush got this funny look on his face and said, "Wow, I'll be the teachers can't wait to get you in their class." Everyone laughed. It was so funny.
Definately a must do.

Thanks for the great reviews on this attraction! We went to the Living Seas last summer and while it was OK, we wouldn't have planned on going again this summer. Now we'll be sure to check out Crush!

We hadn't planned on going to Epcot this time around, but you have intrigued me. What is the line up like. Is this attraction on a show time schedule, or do people come and go?

The shows start every 20 minutes. What I think is bad is Disney has done nothing to promote or advertise for this attraction. Several to not go into Living Seas and are missing out on one of best attractions. This should be what there pushing not Stitch. But that is just my opinion.

It is such a cute show.

Needs more advertising. Don't really know about till you are inside the bldg.

herc.

I don't think they really can advertise what with how small it is. I think the room fits 50-60? If they run shows every 20-30 minutes it would be a horrendous line up if word got out and it became a top attraction. Think if The Little Mermaid could only seat 50 what a nightmare that would be.

We adored it, but I do believe they'll regret not making the room at least slightly larger. DD kept asking how'd they do that Mom?
I'd like a tour behind the scenes to see exactly how because I have no idea. :)

Dude! We loved Crush! He called on my niece Mallory and called her Malley-Mal, she was in awe (me too for that matter! LOL!) I was extremely impressed, it is a very cool show, but I would not have known about it if it hadn't been for these boards! It is strange that there is little to no promotion. Maybe it's still in a "testing" stage? When we first got to Living Seas, Crush was closed for technical problems, but then opened up again about 20 minutes later.

I read that the way they make this attraction work is the technology used in the making of Polar Express. There is an actor behind the scenes that has his face wired which produces the facial features for Crush add a microphone and a video screen that he can see the audience on and you have a very alive version of Crush.

As adults, we've seen Crush twice and loved it both times! This is definitely fun for guests of all ages.

On my last trip, Crush asked a little boy what a bikini top was for (I'm guessing that Crush thought the boy would say swimming), and the little boy said it was for protecting your "chest area" (he used a different term, LOL). The audience died laughing! Crush said that we should all just "pull a Dory" and forget that it ever happened. :teeth:

We did the new turtle talk in Dec and it was great! Both my DD4 and DS4 were called on to talk to Crush. Crush also asked my DS what the bikini top was for. He laughed and said I can't wear that!! Crush said why now? My DS said girls wear those under their shirts!! (he thought it was a bra!) The audience loved it. Now Crush is my son's favorite character (goodbye buzz, hello crush!). It really is a great addition!
