This show is VERY appealing to kids and adults (a 12-yr-old is PRIME).

It is NOT just a "little kid" attraction.

I agree that it is so unusal for a third-grade kid to find this funny, funny show "lame".
But the mom explained that during that particular show, her 8 yr-old happened to be the "oldest kid" in the group. (Which is NOT TRUE of most shows.)

I have a feeling it was SHE (the kid) who was feeling HER SITUATION was "lame" and not really the show itself.

Wow. I might try going late afternoon or evening then.

I would be there first thing when Living Seas opens at 9 like Robo said and get in line. The lines just keep getting longer during the day. We never made it because DD loved Soarin so much we went there first both days at Epcot.

When DH and I were there in November 2005 (week after Thanksgiving) we were at EPCOT near park opening. We went to Soarin' to get a fastpass. We then went to the Living Seas. We looked around a bit before getting in line, so I think we waited only one show. We went again later in the evening, about 7 pm, and waited the time of one show.

I believe each show is about 15 - 20 minutes. We are in our early 30's and all the seats were taken, so we watched by standing at the back of the room. You have a good view anywhere in the theater.

We will be going back in September 2008 - I am looking forward to seeing the changed pavilion!
