Through our AAA package, we also have priority viewing for TTWC, but it says we need to present the vouchers to the CM at least 30 mins before the first show of the day. Anyone know how I can find out which is the first show of the day before we get there and look at the Times for that day? Since CA opens later than DL when we are there, we were gonna spend a couple hours after opening in DL, then head over to DCA. But if the first show is at, say, 10:30, that means we need to be at DCA for opening and hotfoot it over to TTWC.

Any help/advice appreciated!
Thx
Carm

When we were there the times for Turtle Talk were every half hour. I don't know when the first show was, though. It wasn't listed in the Times Guide.

I cannot imagine needing priority seating though. There were two lilly pads up front by the screen and the kids were able to sit on these- with their parents. In addition there are seats in the back. I guess if it got busy, you might want to reserve a lilly pad spot.
We got there about 5 minutes before the show and that was plenty of time.
This was in February so it might be different at different times of the year.

That's probably why. :confused3

Of course you are absolutely right. Which is why I put the qualifier in my post. ;)
However, Turtle Talk and Aladdin were on my not to miss list, so I asked a very friendly CM how early to arrive for each. He told me there was no need to ever arrive early for either because they don't fill up and there aren't any bad seats. Maybe he only meant during my stay, but I took this to be a general statement.

Mommyof2boysand1girl, I would suggest asking the CM whether waiting the half an hour will be necessary during your stay. I just went with my 3 year old and 19 month old and that would have been a long wait for them in the Animations building. :thumbsup2

We were there in October for the Halloween festivities, and again in December for the Christmas decorations. Both are busy times at the parks, and we saw TTWC both times with little to no wait. Got there a few minutes before it started both times, and both times the kids were able to get spots on the "lilly pad".

I was surprised to hear about a priority seating. Just wouldn't have thought it would ever be necessary. :confused3 Maybe in the middle of summer? I don't know.

Anyway, it was not crowded at all when we went.

This is no doubt a surprise for WDW veterans, but Turtle Talk with Crush is just not that popular at DCA. DCA is generally not a very crowded park. That makes it a very pleasant park, IMO. Even when people go to DCA, a lot of times they seem to miss stuff like the Animation building where TTWC is. I really would not sweat the priority seating thing. If you have it and you are there, fine, but don't rearrange your days' schedule to be there early for priority seating.

The Times Guides you pick up are the same at each park. They list both parks. So when you get to DL, you'll be able to check out DCA's info at the same time. :)

FWIW, we did TTWC last July. No worries, we got there about 15 min. early and we were the first group waiting. There was a bigger group when they opened the doors but the kids got to sit on the lily pad and we were in the 3rd row back. A bunch of people did rush us as the doors opened but we could see. It was really fun......we are making this a priority for our trip in April. :)

WOW that really confuzzles me that they actually have an AAA priority seating for TTWC. There really isnt a bad seat in the place and you dont have to worry about a seat cause it hardly ever fills up. Besides they would never deny a child the right to sit on the lilly pad or just beside.

Thanks everyone - guess I don't really have to worry about the priority viewing. I just figured it had to be a pretty huge attraction to need priority viewing, but obviously they overanticipated the response - either that or AAA decided to include a "fabulous additional incentive" that really isn't a huge incentive after all to book with them! At least their prices were cheaper!:goodvibes
Whew - takes a load off my mind that we don't have to plan around this - the stress of planning 5 days in the park with 3 kids trying to do everything without much waiting is getting to me!!!:headache: Perhaps I am making this harder than it is - a family I know recently decided to just, on a whim, fly down to DL from here (Calgary, Canada) - no planning, no tour books, no touring plans for the day - just a 'fly by the seat of your pants' kind of vacation! :confused3 Unfortunately, that would just never work for me!! I am too much of a planner!

Thanks for all the input!

That would never work for me either. LOL I am too much of a planner. :rotfl: But at the same time don't stress over it. You can try to plan things out but in the end, sometimes you just have to go with the flow. The point is to just be there and have fun.

5 days is a good chunk of time. I have no doubt that you will get to see and do all the things you want to. Even with 3 kids in tow. ;)

Have fun!! :wizard: And of course if you have any more questions, ask away. Someone here will know the answer. :thumbsup2
