We had room 3123 back in '05. We enjoyed the open feel of this room
and would request again if available. (Bonus as this is a standard view

Yup. From what we could tell, there are only four villas of this type in the whole place. We loved 2123 when we had it. It's right across from stairs and right above an entrance. Very handy and a great view.

I don't think there is a 5123.

No 5123, most of the standard views are only 4 floors.

It is a dedicated 1 bedroom, no lockoff

You can request it but the odds are slim. When I got it, I didn't request it, I had requested top floor, across from the bus stop. My next trip I requested 3123 or 4123 (2123 is/was smoking), we ended up down near Jellyrolls facing the Swan (this was before the tore down the DVC offices and these rooms were sometimes standard).
