Turo car rental - delivery to resorts

Have a split stay coming up and wanted to know if anyone has rented a Turo car and had it delivered to a resort? We don't want a car rental for our whole stay, only for the portion of our trip staying at AKL. Any problems in getting the car delivered/through security? Any experiences with Turo in general would be great as well. Thanks!

How did renting from Turo go? We are planning a trip with a group in December and need an SUV that will six 6 people. Did you purchase their insurance?

Nothing unusual to report. Because you are renting from individuals, you can make whatever arrangements you both agree on. We made arrangements to meet at the airport. They handed off the car and that was it. Same thing on the return. I didnt purchase any insurance.

Disney has an onsite car care center where they also rent cars. That could be an alternative if you only need a car for a few days. Renting from a private party can have a number of challenges. Be sure to look around online for issues some have had with using Turo where you are basically renting from a private party.

Checking in to see if anyone has had any experience having a Turo car delivered to a resort. We are considering this for our stay in September. We only need a car on one day (our non-park day) to do some things offsite. Turo is considerably cheaper than renting a car through a rental company. Since it will be in the middle of our stay, picking up at a place like the airport isn't very convenient. Does anyone know if the Turo owner will be allowed past security to deliver the car?

LOVE Turo but as someone stated above it’s up to individual owners whether they’ll be willing to take the car to the resort, and if you’re asking whether security will let them in I imagine it’s the same policy as a rideshare for temporary allowance onto resort property. I recommend to do it! Turo is wonderful and you can filter for free delivery and highly-rated reputable hosts.
