That's weird! I have no idea what that is about. Try again and let me know. What message are you getting?

Beautiful pictures! Thanks so much for sharing them. I'm heading over to your new report.

Well, here we are. My final post. It's hard to believe that this day is here. I REALLY didn't think I would ever finish this report. I haven't thought at all about what I was going to write for my final entry so I'm just going to wing it here:)

So, 7 months and 24 days ago, I decided to start this report and I had no idea what I was getting in to. I had just become a member of the DIS and was quickly realizing what all the hoopla was about. I found my first Trip Report and read the whole thing through in one sitting... http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1679403 (thanks Laura:thumbsup2 )

I remember laughing out loud at so many things that Laura had written. We became instant DIS friends and she encouraged me to start my own PTR. I was really hesitant to do so because I just didn’t know what I would write about. Well, 41 pages later, I guess I sure figured out a few things to say!! Let’s recap shall we??

Well, first there were the plans and the preparation. I think I bought every thing that I could have possibly needed to conquer the world for the first time with kids. New sippy cups, pipe cleaners, window clings, clip on fan, markers for autographs, pressed pennies, and let’s not forget the stroller. Oh the stroller drama – double stroller or single? Such a dilemma. Thankfully, I was very pleased with my decision. Then there were the glow toys. All 4,000 of them. I still have a bag full that will probably last me through the next 4 trips that we take!

Then there was the insomnia – or the DISomnia as I called it. Every time I closed my eyes, I thought about our trip. It got so bad that I ended up at the doctor. He gave me some magic pills and all was well.

Perhaps the most significant part of my PTR was Gustav. What a week that was. Three weeks before our dream vacation, practically the worst hurricane in Baton Rouge’s history decides to hit:scared1: . We were without power for 9 days and had to stay with my sister. I was so worried that things would not be back on track in time for our trip. Jason couldn’t get to work and when he doesn’t work, he doesn’t make money! PROBLEMO! But alas, everything worked out perfectly and after it was all said and done, our dream trip became that much more special because of what we had gone through the weeks before.

What has really been the highlight of writing this TR has been, more than anything, the friends that I have made along the way. It truly amazes me how close you can feel to people that you’ve never met or even talked to before. I have had the pleasure of meeting on of my loyal TR readers – Where’sPiglet (aka Bethany). It’s been so fun getting to know people from around the country as well as people right next door:love: I am sad that this is coming to an end because it has truly been a big part of my life. This Disney trip was extremely special to me and to Jason. I have equated it many times to our wedding. I planned this trip like I planned the biggest day of my life! And that’s no joke. Being able to share the memories, trials, and tribulations with all of you has been wonderful.

BUT, it is not over!!!!!! I am so fortunate to be able to start another PTR for my unexpected mother/daughter May trip! Again, I feel like I really don’t have much to say but I’m sure that will change. Thanks to all of you for reading along and sharing my memories. I really hope that we all keep in touch and I fully expect to see you all over on my new report. And with that I won’t say goodbye. Rather, I will say…. “See ya’ Real Soon”:tinker:

THE END

Don't forget to visit me here!

Well we stopped home after the Disney Store "experience" I say this because I forgot my stroller and I had a 5 year old running one way, and an 18 month old running the other way. UGH... all I wanted was some time to pick them out a few little things for their disney bags I am making... Oh well! So here I am back at home- both kids are napping:cloud9: and I thought I would check in with my favorite place these days.

:scared: awww- I am so sad to see this come to an end. It is ironic for me because I am new to DIS and this report was my first report I read and I read it while I was "working" and it took me about 4 hours. I laughed, cried, and at the end really felt like you and I were good friends. I dont know if it is because you are such a good writer or if it is because you and I are a lot alike. Anywho- I am very happy that you wrote this report and I got to know you and your wonderful family. AND I am very excited that I can check in now and read your NEW report!!!

My Lord, you sound like me outside of Soarin'. Do you remember that story? Jason and I took turns riding while the other watched the kids. Only problem is that they don't allow strollers in The Land pavillion so they were running around like crazy people!:scared1: That was not fun. I can't imagine taking them to the mall with no stroller!!! I hope you got some of the things you went after.

I am so glad you found my report and that you enjoyed reading it. I sure enjoyed writing it. Thank you for the compliment on my writing style. I really just write whatever comes into my head or how I would be telling the story if you were sitting in front of me. That sometimes does not always work out for the best:lmao: It really is amazing how you become connected to people through their stories. I am having a blast reading about your trip as well. I wish we would be there at the same time. It would be fun to meet up in Mexico for a margarita or something. I bet we would have a blast together. Maybe one day:lovestruc If you're ever down in South La, you know where to find me! And if i ever travel WAY up there to Boston, I'll look you up:thumbsup2

Wow! What a trip report. You made me laugh and cry along with you. I am so glad I got to know you. I can't wait until we can meet in person one day. I really do consider you a friend. Laura:hug:

I am so far behind on reading my subscriptions, but I just finished your trip report.

Your photopass pictures came out great!

Beautiful photos of the Beach Club. I'd really like to stay there.

That is cool that the Headless Horseman came by the carriage ride. We had already left Disney by the time they started running the haunted rides.

Funny how you compared planning the trip to planning your wedding. It is unbelievable how much effort "we" put into our trip planning. It's a lot of fun though. I am always horrified to hear of someone going to Disney that hasn't made plans.

Glad you guys had such a great trip!

I subscribed to the new pretrip and will start reading as soon as I can!

Awww, I'm sad it's over. But thanks again for sharing your trip with everyone...I know that I enjoyed it. I'm glad you have another trip to look forward to, I'm on my way over to check out your PTR!
