I know this has been asked before, but I cannot find the answer. If DS turns 3 smack dab in the middle of our vacation...do we pay extra for those days? How does Disney handle it?

DS's age at the time you check in is what counts. As far as Disney is concerned, he's 2 and you do not need to buy tickets for after his birthday.

Enjoy!

What abuot for food i.e if you are not on the dining plan and you go to a buffet after your child turns 3, but during you stay that started when they were 2?

I don't know about the dining plan, but we had one turn three while we were there and we did not buy a ticket for her and it was fine.

we just celebrated DS 3rd bday in Oct at Disney and I was told by many CMs that the age the kids are at check in applies for the enitre trip. We did not have to buy him park tix or pay at buffet meals.

My son will be 9 and celebrating his 10th birthday while we are there. I assume the same goes?
