I will be at Disney tomorrow for 2 days then a 3 day cruise docking back at Port Canaveral Sunday am. my plane does not leave Sunday until 7:45 pm was thinking about getting one more day in before we leave, my question is if I want to add a day to my package that I have already purchased can I do that at the resort? staying at Port Orleans french Quarter, or would it I be just as well off buying at gate?

1. Yes. At the concierge desk.

2. That would work, too. Any ticket booth or Guest Relations.

Make sure you add your ticket while there on your first day. My understanding is that to extend your days you need to add AFTER the ticket has been used the first time but BEFORE the last day is used. Otherwise they will charge you a full 1-day base ticket. This was what I was told a couple years ago when we decided to add a day to the end of our trip.

Not quite true.
You could upgrade on the day that you used the second admission.
Upgrades can be done on a stand-alone ticket no later than close-of-business ON THE SAME DAY
that the last asset on the ticket is used.

If that were not the case, a guest who originally bought a ONE DAY ticket would not be allowed to more reasonably extend his trip after going into a park on his first day.

Thanks for the correction Robo! I actually wondered about the 1-day ticket thing so figured it had to be something like that. Always good to know for sure. We're planning a trip with my cousin and her family and we've planned for a couple more park days than them. I want to be sure I know the correct info in case they decide to add on days once they realize how awesome it is. ;)
